Infrastructure
Located in the Agrifood City of Tudela, the Agrifood Innovation Incubator is a space for developing innovative projects (*) in the agrifood sector during its first years of life.
The Agrifood City, an initiative of the Navarre Government to promote the agrifood sector, is a pioneering business park located in a strategic area of Navarre, where infrastructures and technologies are shared in a sustainable way. With the aim of achieving an energy efficiency of over 70% and significant cost savings for companies, the infrastructure, including the trigeneration system (steam, cooling and electricity) and the distribution of energy services through an pipe rack is made available to the incubator.
As part of the CEIN Innovation Incubators, it is managed by the Navarre European Enterprise and Innovation Centre (CEIN), which has been working at the service of the Navarre Government for over 20 years, allocating its resources to the promotion of SMEs and entrepreneurs in Navarre.
CEIN Innovation Incubators are not only a space with affordable and fully equipped premises. In addition, each company has a business mentor who guides it in order to ensure the project grows.
THE FACILITIES OF THE INNOVATION INCUBATORS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING FACILITIES:
- 4 industrial buildings ranging from 150 m2 to 350 m2 (including offices and toilets) for agrifood companies with an industrial profile.
- 6 offices ranging from 16 m2 to 21 m2 for innovative service companies specialising in this sector.
- Pilot plant, including:
- Equipped kitchen and material.
- Laboratory with benches, cupboards and generic instruments.
- Meeting rooms.
- Classroom.
- Common dining room.
- CEIN Offices
Access control, fire system, video surveillance system, and individual electrical and air conditioning (hot and cold) are included.
All the buildings and offices are ready for the start-up of an activity, except for such specific requirements regarding the nature of each business project.
TECHNICAL FACILITIES:

- Building sanitation with stainless steel gutter and waste water collection tank and 10,000-litre decanter

The pilot plant:
It is divided into two different areas:
- An 80-m2 laboratory equipped with benches, cupboards and generic instruments: pH-meter, precision scales, sieves, test tubes, gas meter, and so on.
- A 60-m2 kitchen equipped with cooking ranges, ovens, refrigerator, heat-sealing machine and cooking material so companies can develop tests and pre-test series of their products.
