Infrastructure Operations Centre (IOC)

CIC
This Centre has a trigeneration plant to produce steam, cold water and electricity, with a level of energy efficiency above 70%.
Surplus production is sent back to the network, which reduces the cost of supplies and achieves major energy savings for companies.
Thanks to this plant, companies receive the following supplies:
- Hot water at 80ºC
- Cold water at 5ºC
- Glycol water at -10ºC
- Coolant: CO2 (-10ºC, -35ºC and -45ºC)
- Steam at 10 bar
The objective of the IOC is to avoid the need for individual investments by each company. Thanks to this innovative system savings of up to 15% can be achieved in energy costs.
Synergies are sought in all processes and services, leading to energy efficiency of over 80%.
TRIGENERATION
(Steam, cold, electricity)
Steam at 12 bar and at a temperature of 200ºC
Hot water at 80ºC
Cold water at 5.5ºC through a process of absorption of BrLi
Electricity
PRODUCTION OF CONVENTIONAL HEAT
2 dual diesel/natural gas boilers that produce 12,000 kg/hour
Hot water at 80 ºC
